the ice cream was amazing!!!!! super rich matcha flavor and a perfect balance between sweet and bitter! the texture was also super smooth~ honestly it may be my new favorite matcha ice cream in socal! tea master has competition... I will say that it's hard to compare the two because tea master is more milky and creamy and yamari is more matcha-y!! we also got a strong uji matcha drink and it was definitely living up to its name. it was so strong. we're weak so we took half of it home to dilute it with water~ a nice little hack for some more drink :) matcha ice cream: 100/10 strong uji matcha tea: 10/10

I can't believe it's taken me so long to try this place. I got the matcha soft serve, and this is the real deal! It actually tasted like matcha, crisp, refreshing, slightly bitter, and not too sweet. The small piece of chocolate adds a little bit of sweetness, but it really doesn't need it. I would have liked to try the hojicha but they said they will no longer be offering it :( (it was still on the menu as of Aug 2024). I will definitely be returning for the matcha soft serve soon!

Wow, the iced matcha drink w/ milk from here is soooo delicious. Yamari is located inside Mitsuwa in the food court area. I went mid day and it wasn't busy at all, so I was able to order and get my drink within a couple of minutes. I would highly recommend trying this out especially on a hot day. It's super refreshing.

This is the best matcha and matcha soft serve I've ever had! I liked the matcha latte so much that I bought their matcha powder to make at home. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and it was very strong and perfect. You can see that the color is super green and I love it. The matcha soft serve was also really good. Super strong flavor and it tasted better than some places I had in Japan!
